For Q2 2026, Dominion reported $340 million of GAAP net income and $712 million of operating earnings. No Edsall project profit or AI-only sales allocation was disclosed. The two earnings measures have different accounting bases.
Delivery and commitments
The Edsall project’s August 2025 regulatory approval is a milestone, not construction completion. Its utility construction and energization timetable is separate from the already operating Meta Henrico campus. The Edsall load was not established as AI-only.
Costs, funding and dependencies
Permitting, timely construction, customer concentration and financing affect returns. The company’s results also identify risks associated with the pending NextEra combination; a proposed transaction is not a completed ownership change.
