Bloom Energy
Business, financial evidence and documented connections to the AI buildout.
On-site power for computing infrastructure
Bloom Energy supplies fuel-cell power systems and related services. Its data-center exposure is direct equipment and service demand from customers seeking electricity for computing facilities. The value of an entire data-center or power-development project is broader than Bloom’s own hardware and service revenue.

Second-quarter 2026 results
For the second quarter of 2026, Bloom reported $1.0654 billion of revenue, including $935.4 million of product revenue. Operating income was $182.2 million and operating cash flow was $226.4 million. Cash totaled $2.667 billion, against approximately $2.475 billion of recourse debt.
Oracle deployment is underway
The April 2026 Oracle announcement identified an initial 1.2 GW contracted, with deployment underway and continuing through 2027. That is stronger evidence than an expression of interest, but the contracted total should not be treated as fully installed or recognized revenue.
Different stages of future demand
The Oracle framework contemplates up to 2.8 GW, beyond the initial contracted tranche. Separately, AEP’s October 2026 Google-related Cheyenne plan includes 702 MW of Bloom fuel cells, with construction beginning in 2026 and full operation targeted for the end of 2028.
Manufacturing and backlog conversion
Bloom’s 2026 revenue guidance was $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion. Achieving that outlook depends in part on expanding capacity and converting backlog into deliveries. The company does not separately disclose an AI-only share of revenue, so total product sales cannot all be attributed to AI.
Measure installations and cash generation
Installed and accepted Oracle systems will show how quickly the contracted capacity becomes revenue and cash. For Cheyenne, construction progress and equipment delivery will matter ahead of the 2028 operating target. Bloom’s supply economics should remain distinct from AEP’s ownership investment in the power project.

Documented project connections
Each connection below has a specific, cited role. A supplier, lender, customer or proposed acquirer has different economics from the project owner.
Project Jupiter
Announced fuel-cell supplier, up to 2.45GW planned; installation unverified
The documented role does not establish contract value, project-level earnings, accepted operating load or a share of company revenue.
Equinix SV11
Bloom Energy fuel cells were identified in Equinix's SV11 campus power plan.
The 2021 announcement planned 20 MW of campus fuel-cell capacity. It does not establish current SV11 IT load or present Bloom revenue.
Evidence boundaries
Company totals, segment sales, bookings, backlog, spending, capacity and usage describe different things. They do not establish project-level revenue, earnings or an exact AI-only revenue share unless the cited disclosure explicitly says so.
This is a dated research snapshot. Forecasts are attributed expectations, and undisclosed amounts remain unknown. Source review does not certify every project or future outcome.
