Hubbell
Business, financial evidence and documented connections to the AI buildout.
Business and AI exposure
Hubbell manufactures electrical and utility products used to distribute and manage power. Data-center construction creates demand for parts of Electrical Solutions, while grid investment supports Utility Solutions. These businesses also serve industrial, nonresidential and conventional utility customers beyond AI infrastructure.

Financial context
For Q2 2026, Hubbell reported $1.712 billion of sales, including $1.026 billion from Utility Solutions and $686 million from Electrical Solutions. Both segments cover mixed end markets, and the company did not provide a separate AI revenue measure.
Products and delivery
Electrical Solutions organic sales increased 18.3% in Q2 2026, supported jointly by data centers, light industry and nonresidential demand. Utility Solutions organic sales grew 5.5%. Those results show realized business growth without allocating all of it to data-center projects.
Plans and commitments
The NSI acquisition closed on June 9, 2026, expanding Hubbell’s electrical components portfolio. Financing included a $900 million term loan, $1.9 billion of notes and commercial paper. The company’s FY2026 capital spending plan was $175 million–$190 million across the business.
Economics and dependencies
The acquisition adds financing and integration requirements, while operating results depend on customer construction schedules and utility spending. Company-wide capital expenditures are not an AI investment budget. Broad segment sales likewise do not identify revenue from any particular AI campus or customer.
What to watch
Subsequent reports can show acquisition integration, organic demand and debt-related cash commitments. More specific data-center sales or shipment disclosures would clarify AI infrastructure exposure; current evidence establishes an electrical supply role without a separately quantified AI business.
Documented project connections
Each connection below has a specific, cited role. A supplier, lender, customer or proposed acquirer has different economics from the project owner.
No named tracked-project role has been established by the evidence used for this profile. This does not mean the company has no AI exposure.
Evidence boundaries
Company totals, segment sales, bookings, backlog, spending, capacity and usage describe different things. They do not establish project-level revenue, earnings or an exact AI-only revenue share unless the cited disclosure explicitly says so.
This is a dated research snapshot. Forecasts are attributed expectations, and undisclosed amounts remain unknown. Source review does not certify every project or future outcome.
