HOCHTIEF

Business, financial evidence and documented connections to the AI buildout.

XETR:HOT · Research reviewed October 18, 2026

Business and AI exposure

HOCHTIEF supplies construction and engineering services, including through Turner. Data-center contracts create construction revenue and execution obligations; the contractor does not receive a campus owner’s full investment as profit or own the completed computing capacity.

Financial context

For the first half of 2026, HOCHTIEF reported €20.1 billion of revenue and €84.8 billion of backlog. Trailing-year operating cash flow before factoring was €2.4 billion. Its strategic-growth categories include digital infrastructure, energy, defense and minerals, so they are not an AI-only category.

Delivery and commitments

Turner was named as builder for a leased Dallas–Fort Worth hyperscale campus, with phased delivery planned through 2028. Lease commitments and construction awards are different from customer acceptance and recognized contractor revenue.

Costs, funding and dependencies

Labor, procurement, schedule, contract terms and cost execution affect margins. ACS’s joint-venture interests cannot automatically be assigned to HOCHTIEF merely because Turner sits within the same broader corporate group.

What to watch next

Track construction milestones, accepted work and cash conversion against the phased timetable. Project-specific contract value, margin and the share of revenue attributable to AI remain undisclosed unless a source explicitly allocates them.

Documented project connections

Each connection below has a specific, cited role. A supplier, lender, customer or proposed acquirer has different economics from the project owner.

Evidence boundaries

Company totals, segment sales, bookings, backlog, spending, capacity and usage describe different things. They do not establish project-level revenue, earnings or an exact AI-only revenue share unless the cited disclosure explicitly says so.

This is a dated research snapshot. Forecasts are attributed expectations, and undisclosed amounts remain unknown. Source review does not certify every project or future outcome.
