AI within design and production software
Autodesk supplies software for design and production workflows. Its Assistant products bring AI into the Fusion, Forma and Flow ecosystems, with potential monetization through subscriptions and future commercial terms. The value depends on helping users complete useful work and on how the capabilities are packaged and priced.

Second-quarter fiscal 2027 results
Autodesk reported $2.05 billion of revenue in the second quarter of fiscal 2027. Operating cash flow was $575 million and free cash flow was $561 million. These are company-wide results; Autodesk did not separately identify incremental Assistant revenue or the margin contribution from its AI capabilities.
Existing Assistant versus the new preview
Assistant is already available in Fusion, Forma and Flow. On September 15, 2026, Autodesk previewed an expanded, next-generation agentic experience spanning products. That preview describes a future extension of the existing software, rather than general availability of the entire new cross-product experience.
A rollout planned for 2027
Autodesk planned the next-generation rollout for 2027, with precise availability and subscription terms also to be announced during that year. Until those terms are specified, the commercial scope cannot be reduced to a known price, number of paid seats or amount of incremental recurring revenue.
Adoption and financial context
The expanded experience will need to fit customers’ workflows and justify its commercial terms. Autodesk’s fiscal 2027 free-cash-flow guidance of $2.725 billion to $2.750 billion includes MaintainX transaction costs and financing effects. That company-wide outlook should not be interpreted as a forecast of Assistant’s cash contribution.

Look for availability and commercial terms
Published release dates and subscription terms would define the next-generation product more precisely. Actual customer adoption, paid usage and any incremental revenue disclosure would then connect the launch to financial performance. The existing Assistant provides a delivery baseline, while the cross-product extension remains a separate planned release.

Documented project connections
Each connection below has a specific, cited role. A supplier, lender, customer or proposed acquirer has different economics from the project owner.
No named tracked-project role has been established by the evidence used for this profile. This does not mean the company has no AI exposure.
Evidence boundaries
Company totals, segment sales, bookings, backlog, spending, capacity and usage describe different things. They do not establish project-level revenue, earnings or an exact AI-only revenue share unless the cited disclosure explicitly says so.
This is a dated research snapshot. Forecasts are attributed expectations, and undisclosed amounts remain unknown. Source review does not certify every project or future outcome.
