Components for power and connectivity

Analog Devices supplies analog, power-management and connectivity components. AI infrastructure can increase demand for efficient power delivery and high-speed optical links, while edge AI creates opportunities in smaller connected devices. Its exposure comes through semiconductor content and shipments across a broader industrial and communications portfolio.

Third-quarter fiscal 2026 results

Analog Devices reported $4.02 billion of revenue in the third quarter of fiscal 2026, with $1.604 billion of operating cash flow and $1.458 billion of free cash flow. Cash and short-term investments were $2.3 billion. Data-center and industrial demand contributed to the company’s growth.

Empower is already part of the company

The $1.5 billion cash acquisition of Empower Semiconductor closed on July 7, 2026, adding technology for power delivery from the grid toward computing processors. Existing optical and power sales had more than doubled year over year. Closing the acquisition and selling integrated future products remain separate milestones.

Alif would expand edge-AI products

The September 2026 Alif agreement provides for $1.35 billion of upfront cash and up to $200 million of contingent consideration. Closing was expected before year-end, subject to regulatory clearance and other conditions. Alif’s edge-AI silicon was already in production, while Analog Devices’ integration and incremental sales remained prospective.

Data-center sales are broader than AI

Communications represented 16% of third-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue, with data centers accounting for 80% of that segment. The resulting approximately 12.8% company share describes data centers, not exclusively AI. Manufacturing capacity, customer inventory and demand determine how design wins convert into sustained component shipments.

Follow shipments and acquisition integration

Fiscal 2027 product shipments and customer adoption will show the contribution from the expanded power portfolio. Alif’s regulatory clearance and closing would establish a separate acquisition milestone. Neither purchase price nor a design win should be treated as revenue before the related products are actually delivered.

Documented project connections

Each connection below has a specific, cited role. A supplier, lender, customer or proposed acquirer has different economics from the project owner.

No named tracked-project role has been established by the evidence used for this profile. This does not mean the company has no AI exposure.

Evidence boundaries

Company totals, segment sales, bookings, backlog, spending, capacity and usage describe different things. They do not establish project-level revenue, earnings or an exact AI-only revenue share unless the cited disclosure explicitly says so.

This is a dated research snapshot. Forecasts are attributed expectations, and undisclosed amounts remain unknown. Source review does not certify every project or future outcome.
